Through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, the state is calling on bold young entrepreneurs with groundbreaking solutions to apply for this year’s competition. Registration Period
For Lagos Agrithon 2025, application starts on 23rd August and closes on 8th September 2025. Interested applicants are advised to fill the Lagos Agrithon application form here and submit it on or before the official deadline of 8th September 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, participants must meet the following conditions:
Business must be at least 1 year old, with evidence of MVP or verifiable sales
Founder must be 18–40 years old
Open to startups, innovators, and agribusiness teams
Must be based in Lagos or running a project that impacts Lagos agrifood systems
Must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
Must be registered with the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASSRA)
Must provide an innovative solution addressing a critical challenge in agriculture or food systems
Evaluation Criteria
Your submission will be judged based on:
Innovation – uniqueness and creativity of your solution
Feasibility – practicality within Nigeria’s agricultural context
Scalability – potential to reach and impact many stakeholders
Supply Chain & Logistics – storage, transport, and distribution efficiency
