His Excellency, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has approved minor changes in the State Executive Council with effect from Monday, August 25, 2025.
By this development, Mr. Udeme Daniel Isa has been relieved of his appointment as Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning.
In a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, the Governor conveyed his appreciation to Mr. Isa for his service to the state and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Furthermore, His Excellency has approved the redeployment of the following Commissioners:
Capt. Iniobong Ekong (Rtd.), formerly Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning, is now posted to serve as Commissioner for Trade and Investment.
Dr. Ubong Inyang, formerly Commissioner for Trade and Investment, is now posted to serve as Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning.
Governor Eno expressed confidence that the redeployed Commissioners will justify the trust reposed in them by bringing their wealth of experience and commitment to bear in their new assignments.
The Governor reassures the people of Akwa Ibom State that the changes are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and deliver on the administration’s ARISE Agenda for sustainable development.
